With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lucy T Sims of Roan Mountain, Tennessee, born in Bluff City, Tennessee, who passed away on August 7, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Nelson and Eva Perry Nelson; her children, Robert Sims and Peggy Ann Bowman; and her sisters, Frances Charlton and Mary Garland (George).
She is survived by: her children, James Henry Sims, Theresa Oaks (Johnny), Randy Lee Sims (Lisa) and Michael Shane Sims; her sister Lois Ann Scalf; and her nephew Cecil Nelson. She is also survived by 19 Grandchildren.
In lieu of Flowers, donations may be made to the Carter County Rescue.
