It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James R Palmer of Roan Mountain, Tennessee, who passed away on April 22, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bruce and Virginia Wilson Palmer; his son Jamie Palmer; and his brothers, Charlie and Dean Palmer.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Yelton Palmer; his daughter Marsha Barnett (John); his grandchildren, Megan Barnett and Dustin Barnett; his great grandchild Bentley James Anderson; and his siblings, Johnny Palmer (Mary) and Clairece Ruby Powell.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
