He was predeceased by: his parents, Bynum Cordell and Reva Johnson Cordell; his wife Rebecca Morrison Cordell; and his daughter Mickie Cordell. He is survived by: his children, Trenda Forman, Wade Bynum Cordell and Josh Cordell (Heather); his stepsons, Brian Russell, Keith Russell (Emily) and Kevin Russell (Paige); his grandchildren, Demetrice Cordell, Megan Forman, Brent Forman, Jordan Coffey, Jaylen Herron, Nicholas Oaks, Hayden Cordell, Aldon Cordell, Tristan Cordell and Macon Cordell; and his siblings, Nickie Cordell Strickland (Jim), Penny Cordell Miller and Darrell Johnson (Brenda).
