She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilson Freeman and Elizabeth Caldwell Freeman; her husband Wayne; and her siblings, Willie Taylor, Maxie Arwood, Mildred Stout, Mary Belle Lyons and Blaine Freeman.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Wayne Hagie (Linda) of Roan Mountain and Debbie Hagie Whitson (Terry) of Kingsport; her grandson Michael Chad Hagie; her grandchild-in-law Kari of Elk Park, N. C.; her grandchildren, Jered Marc Whitson and DeAnna Whitson Marshall (Eric) of Church Hill; and her great grandchildren, Hannah, Railey, Trinity and Elliana.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Roan Mountain (8489 US-19E, Roan Mountain, TN 37687). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Roan Mountain, 8489 Hwy 19 E, Roan Mountain, Tn. 37687 for the people involved in the Helene Flood.
