She was predeceased by: her parents, Landon "Link" Lyons and Minnie Glover Lyons; her husband William F. Oxendine; her grandson Brian Franz; and her brother Ralph Lyons.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Franz (Harry), Edrie "Jody" Bristol (Kenneth), Anita Baker (Kermit), Billie Oxendine, Anna Surratt (Lynn) and Willie Oxendine, Jr.. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
