Birchfield; his sons, Randy Birchfield of Roan Mountain and Matt Birchfield (Kerri) of Elizabethton; his great grandchildren, Colby Birchfield (Karmen), Conner Birchfield, Leah Birchfield, Kenzie Birchfield and Kendall Birchfield; and his brothers, Denton Birchfield of Roan Mountain, Dallas Birchfield of Roan Mountain and Rick Birchfield of Roan Mountain. He is also survived by Several Nieces and Nephews.
