He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Harold Heathcock and Frances Heathcock (Gatlin); and his sister Carolyn Rhodes. He is survived by: his sons, Scottie Heathcock (Shelley) of South Fulton and Dusty Heathcock of Rives; his grandchildren, Taylor Heathcock (Nick) of Columbia, Alex Heathcock (Azia) of Union City, Matthew Chesser of Union City and Tyler Chesser of Columbus, Ohio; and his great grandchild Amelia Grace Chesser of Ridgely.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Obion County Memorial Gardens (3939 Ken Tenn Hwy, Union City, TN 38261).
