He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Cecil and Gladys Sewell (Lemley); his daughter Melanie Dawkins; and his sisters, Carol Humphries and Sue Browning.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Shuff; his grandchildren, Brittany Shaver (Austin), Matthew Dawkins (Katie), Joshua Sewell (Whitney) and Marissa Bryce (Jonathan); and his sisters, Betty Christensen of Crystal Lake, IL and Darlene Brock of Clanton, AL. He is also survived by his thirteen great-grandchildren.
