With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ruby Jewell Stanfield of Ripley, Tennessee, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Ruby Jewell left this world on February 17, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband R. C. Stanfield; her parents, Raymond Scallions and Myrtle Maude Kirby Scallions; her children, Steve Stanfield, Talbert Stanfield, Janet Arwood and Debra Ann Stanfield; her granddaughter Lisa Voss; and her siblings, James "Bubba" Scallions, Leonard Scallions, Marie Daniels and Linda Watkins.

She is survived by: her children, Chris Stanfield (Nadia) of Brownsville, TN, Janice Spencer (Jesse) of Ripley, TN and Rita Nelson (Mark) of Ripley, TN; her siblings, Terry Scallions (Janice) of Brownsville, TN, Molly LaBonte (Don) of Ripley, TN and Pam Jackson of Ripley, TN.; and her grandchildren, Ashley Arwood, Raymond Arwood, Casey Jones, Tabitha Kirkpatrick, Rocky Webb, Andrew Stanfield, Shelby Hartline, Stephanie Young, Sandy Harbrough, Brandy Griffin and Annie Jo Lott.

Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home (1280 S Dupree St, Brownsville, TN 38012). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Woodville Cemetery (2024 Woodville Rd, Ripley, TN 38063).

The family has requested Memorials be given to the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home to help with the funeral expenses.
