He is survived by: his wife Betty Mills Yates of Ripley, TN; his mother Dorothy Stanford Yates of Saltillo; his children, Bonita Flores of Blue Springs, Annelida Lackey (Bo) of Ripley, TN and Keith Yates of Ripley, TN; his siblings, Deborah Oaks of Saltillo and Timothy Yates of Saltillo; and his grandchildren, Christopher Clements (Taylor) of Atlanta, GA, Ronald Clements of Blue Springs, Nicholas Clements (Stephanie) of Memphis, TN, Regina Porter (Brian) of Myrtle, MS, Samantha Newman (Victor) of Atoka, TN and Gwendolyn Drew Lackey of Huntsville, AL. He is also survived by great-grandchildren; host of other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
