He was predeceased by: his grandfather Lester Arnold. He is survived by: his parents, Daniel Walker (Tracey) of Ripley, TN and Markeeta Walker (Brad Hughes) of Johnson City, TN; and his grandparents, Dan, Carol Walker of Ripley, TN and Carolyn Miller of Kingsport, TN..

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made through the Mississippi State University Foundation and designated to the University Scholarship Fund in Matthew's name.
