He was predeceased by: his father Mack Scobey; and his stepfather Paul Naylor. He is survived by: his wife Lanetta Scobey (Thompson); his sons, Will Rushing of Dyersburg, TN and Shannon Rushing of Ripley, TN; his mother Betty Naylor (McCoy); his siblings, Teresa Landreth (Mike) of Jackson, TN, Lisa Moore (Carman) of Memphis, TN and Jimmy Scobey of Atoka, TN; his stepmother Donna Scobey of Ripley, TN; and his grandchildren, Rebeccah Jackson, Logan Rushing, Peyton Rushing, Taylor Rushing, Kevin Rushing, Harley Rushing and Aubrey Rushing. He is also survived by seven nieces and nephews and ten great nieces and nephews.
