He was predeceased by: his parents, James Poiner and Bessie Poiner (Dew); and his siblings, Charles Poiner, Peggy Morris and Glenda Tatum.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Poiner of Ripley; his children, James Darryl Poiner, Jr. (Andi) of Martin, TN, Carol Jean Oliver of Indianola, MS and Margaret Ann Boswell of Dresden, TN; and his sisters, Carol Ciuffoletti (Bob) of Kennett, MO, Linda Bugg (Larry) of Martin, TN and Pat Baker (Harvey) of Martin, TN. He is also survived by three granddaughters; one grandson; and one great granddaughter.
