He was predeceased by: his children, Charles Nathaniel Griggs, Jr. and Lynda Griggs Croisant; his parents, Oscar Griggs and Avannah Breeding Griggs; and his sister Wanda Griggs Williams.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Terry Griggs, Tonya Cutlip Watson, Charles Nathaniel Griggs, III and Marcy Cutlip Ray; his great grandchildren, Ricky Tucker, Forrest Blake Tucker (Marti), Collin Brent Tucker, Matthew Charles Cutlip Moore, Elisabeth Renae Ray, Charles Nathaniel Griggs, IV, Courtney Griggs and Katie Griggs; his siblings, Billy Griggs, Joe Griggs and Ann Griggs; and his friend Tiger. He is also survived by fifteen great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked for memorials to be made to the Ashport Baptist Church or to the charity of your choice.
