He was predeceased by: his son Brian Higginbotham; and his parents, Fonzo Higginbotham and Vertie Higginbotham. He is survived by: his wife Debra Higginbotham; his children, Mindy Pruitt (Travis), Amber Shakelford, Amy Dance (Brad), Michael Bingham (Valerie) and Gary Dene Higginbotham; his sister Lillie Clark; and his grandchildren, Blaine, Patrick, Alyssa, Leila, Emma, Caleb, Tanner, Micah, Reaghan, Raven, Bailey, Lauren, Nolen, Keifer and Crixus. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
