He was predeceased by: his mother Brenda Mauldin; his grandparents, Wilburn, Geneva Mauldin, Jack and Susie Mathina; and his granddaughter Kalilah Edwards.
He is survived by: his children, Susie Mathina, Madison Kindle, Shane Kratz, James Kratz and Garrett Mauldin; his father Jack Mauldin (Cheryl McKinney); his sisters, Tracy J. Mauldin and Kayla Lanier (Micah); his nephew Garry J. Allen; his grandchildren, Anna Bella Kratz, Jace Kratz, Sarah Edwards, Tailor Mathina, Dallas Mathina, John Edwards Jr. and Kelynn Edwards (Dawn Hammock); and his great grandchild Brylie.
