He was predeceased by: his daughter Alechia Kirk; and his brother O'Neal Kirk, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Nina Kirk of Ridgely, TN; his daughter Amanda Kirk (Jamie Pugh) of Tiptonville, TN; his stepson Brandon Mathina (Ashley Hill) of Ridgely, TN; his siblings, Jimmy Lee Hurst of Tiptonville, TN, Richard Hurst of Washington, DC, Jody Hurst of Tiptonville, TN, Brenda Childress of Newbern, TN, Tina Readenour of Tiptonville, TN and Debroa Dunn of Ridgely, TN; his grandchildren, Rhiannon Hamlin, Cheyenne Beal, Coby Mathina, Carson Mathina, Levi Mathina, Jayden Hill, Ciara Hill and Tyler Hill; and his great grandchild Greysen Hamlin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
