She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Hopper and Farrah Burton; her husband Houston Smith; her son Gary Smith; and her siblings, Hershel Hopper, Waymon "Doobie" Hopper, Eugene Hopper and Betty Johnson.
She is survived by: her sons, Frankie Joe Smith (Marilyn) of Ridgely and Bart Lane Smith (Ashley) of Hornbeak; her daughter-in-law Glenda Smith; her sister Minnie Cox of Union City; and her grandchildren, Kim Price, Brandi Jackson, Brad Smith, Erica Smith and Lauren Craddock. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
