He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Parson and Frances Dean Parson; his siblings, Walter Parson, Paul Parson, James Parson, Fanny Tubbs, Mozelle Parson and Lula Bell Parson; and his great grandchild Broden Stutts.
He is survived by: his children, Debora Wilson (Johnny) of Ridgely, TN, Jessie Parson of Dyersburg, TN and Jimmy Joe Parson (Haley) of Ridgely, TN; his siblings, Martha Woods of Big Sandy, TN, Frances Blackley of Martin, TN, Joe Parson of Tiptonville, TN, Roger Parson of Tiptonville, TN, Johnny Parson of Tiptonville, TN and Ricky Parson of Greenfield, TN; and his friend Julie Johnson. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
