He was predeceased by: his aunts and uncles, Virginia Yates Stubbs, Shirley Yates Smith, Eugene Tippit, Don Tippit and Dale Tippit.
He is survived by: his parents, Howard Tippit and Susan Yates Tippit; his wife Rebecca Richardson Tippit of Ridgely, TN; his daughters, Katherine Tippit Huitt (Jake) of Friendship, TN and Sara Tippit Stephenson (Brandon) of Union City, TN; his brother Kelly Tippit (Alicia) of Hornbeak, TN; his nieces and nephews, Matthew Tippit, Jeffrey Beasley, Bryce Beasley, Louis Waterbury, Jessica Gardner, Kelly Gardner, Brooklynn Robbins, Courtney Cauthen and Caitlin Dunnam; his aunt Mary Lynn Yates Moore; and his uncles, Steve Yates (Christine) and Tommy Stubbs.
