He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Bobby Roy Hensley; his son Wayne Douglas Hensley; his brothers, Steven Bruce Hensley and Tim Douglas Hensley; his wife Veria; his daughter Stacey Hensley Haynes (Wayland) of Watertown; his brother Tad Hensley (Janet) of Lebanon; and his in-laws, Jammie Hensley of Dixon Springs and Ray Nesbitt of Carthage.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM at the Sanderson Funeral Homes, Inc. (901 Main St N, Carthage, TN 37030-1002). A burial was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 2:30 PM. A graveside service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Hensley Family Cemetery (613 Rome Rd, Riddleton, TN 37151).
