He was predeceased by: his mother Wanda Leach. He is survived by: his father Stephen Jackson Bates; his stepmother Lisa Bates of Pleasant Shade, TN.; his son Camren Scott Bates of Corbin, KY.; his sisters, Amanda Walker (James) of Pleasant Shade, TN and Emily Bates of Pleasant Shade, TN.; his nephew Kaleb Walker of Pleasant Shade, TN.; and his nieces, Kinley Walker of Pleasant Shade, TN. and Kaitie Walker of Pleasant Shade, TN..

Christopher's family request memorial donations in his memory be made to Bass Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
