He is survived by: his children, Troy Smith (Janeth), Rickey Smith, Sue Boswell (Jerry) and Beck Emberton (Shaun); his sisters, Wilma Boyatt (Joe) and Melissa Wolak (Dan); his grandchildren, Josh Vaughn, Maverick Emberton, Tristan Smith, Eli Smith, Kiara Smith, Ben Boswell, Axel Garcia, Chloe Nguyen and Chris Harris; and his great grandchildren, Morgan Banks, Joseph and Wyatt Vaughn.
