It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Thomas Ramsey Sr. of Rickman, Tennessee, born in Cookeville, Tennessee, who passed away on September 8, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Ramsey and Altie Cowan Ramsey; his wife Quinnie Ann Bradford Ramsey; and his sisters, Louise Lafever, Ruby Ramsey, Ann Lafever and Frances Patuna.
He is survived by: his children, Karla Ferris (Terry) and George T. Ramsey, Jr. of Rickman; his siblings, Betty Sue Madden, Emma Jean Ramsey and Izell Ramsey of Cookeville; and his grandchildren, Zachary Ramsey, Kristin Ramsey, Jacob Ramsey, Cliff O'Keefe (Knosh), Brad Ferris (Jen) and Tracy Greenwalt (Dallas). He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild.
