She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Longmire; her parents, Finley Ayers and Jessie Miller Ayers; and her brothers, J. P. Ayers and Noah "Curly" Ayers.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Elizabeth "Libbi" Lay (Mark) and Ginger "GiGi" Ball (Jim); her grandchildren, Whitney Brown (David), Christopher Lay, Matthew Lay (Christine), Sarah Lay, Stephanie Johnson (Jeff) and Holly Davis (Brad); her great grandchildren, Ian Bargy, Lorelei McCullah, Peyton Jones and Boone Davis; and her sisters-in-law, Margaret Ayers and Irene Willocks. She is also survived by Several Nephews, Nieces, other relatives and friends.
