He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Frank and Anna Malissa Vineyard Parkinson; his son Tommy Parkinson; and his brother John Parkinson, MD. He is survived by: his wife Anoline Bacon Parkinson of Riceville; his children, Connie Helm (Dan) of Wellington, NV and James Parkinson of Riceville; his grandchildren, Julie Ladd (Brandon), Trevin Parkinson (Brandy) and Sarah Parkinson; and his sister-in-law Sylvia Parkison of Kingston, TN. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; brother.
He was a lifelong resident of McMinn County and was a son of the late Hugh Frank and Anna Malissa Vineyard Parkinson. He was also preceded in death by a son, Tommy Parkinson, and a brother, John Parkinson, MD.
