He was predeceased by: his parents, Sabaska Donaldson and Roby Gill; and his siblings, Weldon of Louis, DJ, Fielden, Joe, Kenneth, Dean, Dale, William and Mary.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Colloms Donaldson; his children, Stanley Donaldson, Jerry Donaldson (Gayle), Sherril Ray (Cecil) and Sonya Donaldson; and his stepchildren, Eddie Hamby and Joyce Hamby Womac (Estil). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
