She was predeceased by: her parents, James Virgil and Ruth Richesin Davis; her son David Michael Cranfield; and her siblings, Stan Davis, Jerry Davis, Shirley Borders and Aldean Brackett.

She is survived by: her husband Melvin Cannon of Riceville; her daughter Patti Cranfield of Knoxville; and her brothers, Jim Davis of Athens and Steve Davis of Ten Mile.
