She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Franklin and Violet Virginia Peters Nelson; and her sisters, Gail Bergdoll and Tammy Simmons. She is survived by: her husband Carl V. Rue of Athens One; her children, Carla Rue of Athens One and Charles "Chucky"; her daughter-in-law Jackie Lee Rue of Mount Hope, W. VA.; her grandson Christopher Glenn Rue (Amy Gregory Keith); and her siblings-in-law, Danny (Erma Rue) and Dianna Wheaton of Athens Several.
