She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Simpson and Nellie Simpson; and her siblings, James, Charles, Edward Simpson, Ruby Nell Hudson, Maxine Lee and Nannie Sue Black.
She is survived by: her children, Alisa Lawson (Sam) and Allan Adams (Teresa Poe); her grandchildren, Laura Lamb (Tony), Ben Lawson (Lauren West) and Brandon Adams; and her great grandchildren, Hannah, Kelsey DeSherlia, Emma Lawson and Emberly Adams. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
