It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cynthia Johnson of Riceville, Tennessee, who passed away on February 20, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Sr. Prince and Kathleen "Mother Dear" Prince (Holdaway); her son Mike Johnson; her daughter-in-law Debbie Johnson (Ward); her brothers, Larry and Grady Jr. Prince (Donna); her niece Kathy Windsor; and her close friends, Retha Shankle and Carolyn O'Daniel.
She is survived by: her sisters, Jan Kelley and Sandra Kelley (Marvin); her sons, Jay and Kenny Johnson; her grandsons, Daniel (Destiny), David, Garrett and Jeremiah Johnson; her great grandchildren, Emmalea, Grayson and Teegan; her nieces and nephews, Mike Windsor, Jim Prince (Kim), Tim Prince, Missy Prince, Lisa Prince, Tonya Keaton (Ken), Shannon Mitchell (Nick) and Jonathan Prince; her cousin Bobbie Parson; her close friends, Debbie Tilley and Franzine Becker; and also, Gail Johnson and Shea (Darrin Payne).
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Covenant Baptist Church (241 Co Rd 608, Athens, TN 37303).
