It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Wilson of Riceville, Tennessee, who passed away on April 2, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Carolyn departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Carolyn may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Carolyn leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband Maynard Wilson; and her parents, Claude Morrison and Marie Morrison. She is survived by: her sons, Chris Morrison (Brittany Wattenbarger) and Travis (Lacey Morrison); and her grandchildren, Trinity Morrison, Noah Morrison and Larkin Wattenbarger.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Eastanallee Baptist Church (482 Co Rd 725, Riceville, TN 37370). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Eastanallee Cemetery.
