He is survived by: his children, Randy (Stephanie Wheaton), Jennifer, John Thomas of Geneva, NY, Alan (Marylou Fritz), Stacey Fritz of Ocala, FL, Paul Atwell Jr. of Corning, NY, Gary (Monica Atwell), Winfield (Salena Atwell), Doreen (Tracy Tucker) and Jamie (Miranda Atwell); his siblings, Stacey Jo (Stanley Gerkey), Kathy (Paul Oberdorf), Mondaine Hatler of Montour Falls, NY, John Wheaton of Dallas, TX and Rusty Wheaton of Dallas, TX.; and also Mary Elizabeth Reed Wheaton of Riceville.
