He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Bishop and Ova Lee Bishop (Matthews). He is survived by: his wife Shirley Bishop; his children, James Bishop, Jr. of California, Robert N. Bishop of California and Tauni Muse of Dalton, GA; his stepsons, Tracy Wilkey and Terry Wilkey of Dayton; and his sisters, Billie Jo, Bobbie and Jackie. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
