He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore May and Agnes May (Hodge); his children, Jackie May, Tammy Joy May and Ben Duane May; his grandson Gary Barnes; and his great grandchild Ethan Hall.
He is survived by: his wife Paula May; and his siblings, Ted May of Graysville, TN and Edith "Snoops" Presley of Sale Creek, TN. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
