She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Nina Mae Fetzer Rowland, Mary Ethel Duckett Cooley, Henry Spence Rowland and B. W. "Burley" Cooley; and her cousins, Tony Moses and Tara Rowland Guider.
She is survived by: her husband Noah Merrell; her children, Angela Chastain Kennedy (Todd) of Lenoir City, TN and Noah B. Merrell III; her parents, Bobby Albert and Mary Gladys Cooley; her grandchildren, Abby and Lauren Kennedy; and her siblings, Susie Cooley, Scott (Lori Cooley) and Kim Martin.
