He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert H. VanDevander, Sr. and Shannon O'Mara Hayes; his wife Angela Hinton VanDevander; his sons, David VanDevander (Ashley) and Matthew VanDevander; and his brothers, Robert "Bob" VanDevander, Jr. and John VanDevander.
