With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Buddy Goforth of Reliance, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 16, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Goforth and Bessie Merrell Goforth; and his siblings, Bertha Wilcox (Oliver), Lon Goforth (Josephine), Birch Goforth (Mae Agnus), Brown Goforth (Meleane) and Alden Goforth (Ruth).
He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Campbell Goforth; his children, Dale Goforth (Victoria) and Ghena Frazier (Tommy); his grandsons, Colby Goforth and Briar Lowe (Hannah); his nephew Clifford Goforth (Ava); and his great-nephew Richie Goforth.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Higgins Funeral Home of Benton (6439 US-411, Benton, TN 37307). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Greasy Creek Cemetery.
