He is survived by: his wife Joyce Green Hixson; his children, Shelly Wild (Sandy), Stephanie Hixson and Chris Hixson; his grandchildren, Alley Wild, Addison Carden, Christopher Hixson, Jesse Hixson, Sydney Hixson and Levi Hixson; his brothers, Net Hixson (Sheila) and Nathaniel Hixson; his sisters-in-law, Sharon Rymer (Froney), Denise Waddell (David) and Renee Martin (Allen); his nieces and nephews, Amanda Hixson, Jacob Hixson, Brooke Hixson, Tiffany Blackwell, Chris Blackwell, Daven Blackwell, Caden Blackwell, Jayson Waddell, Noah Waddell, Kitt Waddell, Cory Dobbs, Lance Dobbs, Samantha Welch, Matt Welch, Lily Welch and Dylan "Bubba" Cheatham; his cousin Calvin Blair; and his friends, Taggen Lipps, DJ Williams, Becca Calfee and Dr. Knabb.
