He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Sylvester and Anna Kate Ridge (White); his wife Shirley Ridge; and his siblings, Billy Ridge and Anna Lee Ridge.
He is survived by: his children, Christopher Ridge (Kathie) of Berea, KY and Jennifer Reed (Jeffrey) of Morgantown, IN; his grandchildren, Abigail Derringer (Mark), Mallory Muncie (Keenan), Sara Shaw (Brandon), Adam Patterson (Candice) and Aaron Patterson (Brittany); his stepgrandsons, Michael Reed (Brandy) and Brian Reed (Traci); and his sisters, Willow Dean Ridge of Gainesboro, TN, Virginia Fagan (Carl) of Chapel Hill, TN, Edna Sue Mahaney (Jack) of Gainesboro, TN, Patsy Cote (Paul) of Edmonton, KY, Rosalene Welch (Roy), Imogene Smith (Willis) of Celina, TN and Dianne Davis (Tony) of Lafayette, TN. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.
