It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Page Kernell of Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee, who passed away on March 28, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Helen Lynn Kernell; his daughter Christie Newberry; his parents, Thomas Kernell and Bonnie Wolfe Kernell; his grandson Cody Newberry; and his siblings, Joyce Ann Kernell, A. C., James, Doug and Phil Kernell.
He is survived by: his daughter Sherri McDonald of Tompkinsville, KY; his son-in-law Chris McDonald of Fountain Run, KY; his grandchildren, Kevin (Crystal Newberry) of Lafayette, Cameron McDonald (Amanda) of Westmoreland and Kalista McDonald (Chris Marshall) of Tompkinsville, KY; and his sisters, Margie Rush of Whitleyville, Gaile Hensley and Brenda Scheu of Clay County. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
