With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Norma Jean Allen of Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 29, 2025 at the age of 79. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Murphy and Mertie Thompson Murphy; and her siblings, Willa Dean Murphy, Thurman Murphy and Leonard Murphy.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Allen; her children, David Allen (Maria) and Kristina Payne (David) of Lafayette; her grandchildren, Chelsie Allen, Jacob Allen, Jennie Payne White (Matt) and Kayla Payne; her sister Gearl Head; and her niece Judy Graves of Louisville, KY..
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Anderson & Son Funeral Home - Red Boiling (544 Lafayette Rd, Red Boiling Springs, TN 37150). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at the Old Mt. Herman Cemetery (331 Meshack Creek Rd, Tompkinsville, KY 42167).
