He is survived by: his daughter Patsy; his son-in-law Richard Bowman; his son Garnett; his daughter-in-law Martha Forkum of Mt. Juliet; and his grandchildren, Barry Forkum, Allen Forkum, Jeff Bowman, Mardesa McDuffee and Nathan Joines. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
