It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Joe Cherry of Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee, who passed away at the age of 79, on February 28, 2025. He was predeceased by: his wife Neva Collins Cherry; his parents, Estes "Lartin" Cherry and Estelle Johnson Cherry; his siblings, Jerry Cherry, Dennie "Doughbelly" Cherry and Glenda Cherry; and his great grandchild Benton Andrew Carnahan.
He is survived by: his daughters, Charlotte Halliburton, Laura Tidwell and Jolena Birdwell of Moss; his grandchildren, Andrew Lewis, Natalie White (Stetson), Eliza Reagan (Colton), Joseph Birdwell, Sadie Birdwell, Kendall Thompson, Dalton Thompson and Riley Thompson; his great grandchildren, Neyland McKinney, Paizley White, John White and Addie Lewis; and his siblings, Willodean Hestand of Moss, Jill Thompson of Moss, Brenda Carpenter (Frankie) of Moss, Debbie Crawford of Moss, Wanda Maxey and Denzil Cherry. He is also survived by nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Anderson & Son Funeral Home (544 Lafayette Rd, Red Boiling Springs, TN 37150).
