He is survived by: his wife Nancy Trisdale Vinson; his daughter Jeannie Vinson; his sisters, Sarah (Carlos Newberry), Anna Perdue, Patsy (David Burton) and Abby (Gary Crowe); and his sisters-in-law, Donna Vinson, Lona Vinson and Linda Dixon (Zander). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
