He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Creekmore Rains; his brother Baxter Mickey Rains of Puerto Rico; his nephew Darryl Rains of Florida; his parents-in-law, Wilmuth Payne (Delmo), Sam J. Creekmore, III and John Creekmore (Sheila); and his close friends, Mansur Ismail Isak, Tina Queen Cowley and Jerome Glidewell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
