He was predeceased by: his father Tom Ethridge; his wife Mable Ethridge; his daughter Lori Ann Ethridge; and his brothers, Wallace Ethridge and Clois Ethridge.
He is survived by: his children, Billy Ray Ethridge, Jr. (Patty) and Carole Moody; his siblings, Jimmy Ethridge, Dorothy Parker, Betty Churchwell and Lois Spears (Sonny); his grandchildren, Jason Ethridge, Jennifer Scott (Adam), Terry Moody, Matthew Moody (Jen) and Stephanie Richardson; and his close friend Rena Holmes. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
