She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard N. Tenpenny and Beatrice Patrick Tenpenny; her husband Thomas Earl "Ted" Davenport; and her sister Reba Jo Bowman. She is survived by: her brothers, Billy Tenpenny, Sr. (Shirley) of Murfreesboro and Tony Lynn Tenpenny of Murfreesboro; her nieces and nephews, Billy Tenpenny, Jr. of Murfreesboro, Andy Tenpenny of Murfreesboro, Becky Anderson of Murfreesboro, Jilda Bowman of Nashville and Patrick Bowman of Nashville; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Andrew Anderson, Rachael Anderson, Liam Tenpenny and Shae Tenpenny; her close friends, Edward Bryson (Myrtle) of Woodbury and Jerry Mullinax (Brenda) of Woodbury; and also Kaitlyn Scruggs.
