She was predeceased by: her husband Fred Rogers; her parents, Owen Averitt Smith and Mary Sue Compton Smith; and her siblings, J. B. Smith and Barbara Vaughn.
She is survived by: her children, Renee Rogers (Daniel Davenport), Thomas Rogers (Jan) and Ronald Rogers (Raquel); her grandchildren, Jennie, Alvin Brandon, Katie, Brian Ferguson, Whitney, Zak Redden, Matthew, Ashley Rogers, Jonathon and Amber Rogers; her great grandchildren, Kenneth, Quentin, Addelyn, Lennon, Brylee, Caroline, Claire and Cole; her brother Bill (Marsha Smith); her sisters-in-law, Sandra Smith and Carolyn Wilson; and her caregiver Crystal Melton.
