He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam L. Reed and Beatrice Henderson Reed; his brother Warren Reed; and his great great grandchild Emersyn Poteat. He is survived by: his children, Tony Reed (Donna) of Readyville, Eric Reed (Sandi) of Readyville, Sandy Margarito of Bradyville and Mike Reed (Kay) of Chattanooga; his sister Edna Cornelius of Nashville; his grandchildren, Tyler Reed (Alisha), Chris Reed (Denise), Dustin Reed, Laura Cain, Brian Mullen and Morgan Moellering (Levi); his great grandchildren, Macon, Declan, Aria Reed, Ethan, Carson Reed, Kelsey Poteat (Blake), Makenna, Kelly Ann Reed, Dylan Cain and Brantley King; and his great great grandchildren, Breelyn, Saylor and Harper Poteat.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Curlee Cemetery or the Curlee Church of Christ.
